Anita Pitt, 911 Program Manager for the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG), is one of the early thought leaders in implementing text-to-911. BVCOG’s seven 911 centers use NICE Inform to record and manage reproduction requests for emergency calls, including text-to-911 communications. According to Anita, NICE Inform provides BVCOG 911 centers with complete legal documentation of SMS 911 texts, should they need it.
