Overview
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department (LVMPD) processes some 400 audio reproduction requests per month. Typically, one in every four requests for evidence received are for the same recordings. Prior to implementing NICE Inform, the department was not able to save or keep track of previous incident reconstruction work. This resulted in a lot of duplicate work.
Now, thanks to NICE Inform, when a new request is received, records custodians can simply retrieve the original reproduction, without having to do the same work all over again. In addition to improving efficiency by 25 percent, records custodians can always be confident each requestor receives identical information.
